omfg.. help please.. wave/mic probs

Hey guys sup?

well the prob im having is..
when i want to dj they can hear the music and it set on wave u kno when u hit "open mixer" u select wave so i did that but everytime i wanna use the mic or talk on it they cant hear me, u cant even see the little blue lines going up and down???!!!??? any1 kno whats wrong?? Everytime i have to talk i have to "open mixer" and switch to microphone if u can help me PLEASE!!! shoutcast staff aim me on AIM or e-mail me PLEASE!

Enable DirectSound?
Go to Preferences (Ctrl+P) > DirectSound. Checkmark Enable DirectSound. Then it should work?
I've never messed with Winamp3, Shoutcast and MIC all at once before.
But creating two sounds at the same time to the same output works using DirectSound Output.

This is the third message where I read that exist a mark for direct sound. Please tell me in what version. I have WA3 and WA3update installed. I work under 2K. I fond the DirectSound property, but there are only 3 marks:

Create primary buffer
Software mixing only
Slow buffer access

As output device I have

Primary Sound Driver
Via AC97... this is my sound card

Do I need glasses?

This might be an easy fix, go to the volumecontrol and see if the mic is listed there. If it is listed then make sure it ain't muted.
