'Ourselves' is far to abstract and imposible to put your finger on what it is and means. I see no reason why I should try searching for this thing, I don't see any need or what benifit it would bring if I ever manage to find whatever the heck it is.

i think that some ppl do need another person to define who they are
some ppl just dont' feel right unless they have some justification for their existance
whether they get it through their job, their leisure activities, or through the love of someone else is up to how they want to live their lives

i'm generally a loner in spirit (i'm alone most of the time), but at the same time i always feel the need for human contact, especially intimate human interaction (not necessarily sex, but SOME kind of expression of love through someone else).
