Editing Skins Problem

When I try to update my skin, I keep getting an error page. This has been happening for a long time. Does anyone know what is wrong?

It's quite possibly just the database screwing up - it does that sometimes. Do you have a slow internet connection? Then try disabling all your other programs that use the net, like firewalls, virus scanners, pop-up-killers, download managers, other browser windows etc. - and try it then. Otherwise, try the next day.

Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.

All my skins: @ winamp.com @ 1K1WS @ Deviantart.com

I've been having the same problem. I can't even get to the Edit page (I get the 404 when I hit the edit link). I've been trying different methods for about a week with no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I want to update my crappy skins!

It puts an extra "classic" in the url...

So when the error page comes up, take out the /classic in the url and it works fine ^_^

Dimi? Is it just me, or did you disappear from the forums just like I did a few months back? In any case, glad to see a post from you, and just thought I'd ask, have you checked your PM screens?

LOL yes I did... and I did, but I'm having what would formally be called "computer issues", otherwise known as "Murphy's Law and my computer become best friends". I'm running off my slave drive now, and only about 1/2 my programs working, I've had to reinstall to slave cause my master registry is hopelessly FUBAR'ed and even a complete reinstall of XP does NOTHING. So to cut a long story short, thanks for reminding me cause I had JUST read PMs prior to problems and err... forgot -_-;;;; I'll get back with ya, promise!

See... this is why I've been the one preaching the evils of XP for a while now. Did you try reformatting your master drive, then repartitioning it (if you want to, of course)?

Cool. I was sort of wondering where you went.

And how long does it take for skinners to get the recognition they deserve?

Moving all programs over in my lazy way cause it didn't want to reformat for me yet... and the sad thing is, I only have 12 gigs free on my 80 gig slave... -_-;;;; Now THAT is embarrassing. Time to write off some media methinks.

LOL - Thanks! ^_^
