Noob Questions Here

Ok, so I got shoutcast, installed it, got it running.

Basically, I don't know wtf I am doing. I think I got it set up right, but when I try to connect (using http://ip:port) it just times out. I'm not exactly sure wtf I am doing wrong. Maybe someone could point me to a guide on just starting out with this stuff?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
