search and destroy

what do some people make a big deal about users not searching for certain things. Now I'm sure the same questions get old after time. But often times you don't know what to search for

ie - you could search for "vbcode" if you know what is called. but most times you would be searching for something like this.... "the button thingy that shows the pic thingy that looks like a ......" well you get the idea. It seams like it would almost be easier to ask on the board than to confuse the search option. In the board you could describe it and get an answer then search for whatever its called.

Often there are FAQ's and stickes that people just blatently ignore and can't be arsed to read, expecting someone to hand the answer on a plate to them
