idea for a skin

well i made this a bit ago think it may be good for a skin using the rotating knob maki script perhaps. Bass and treble would be changed to volume and somthing else (to see what i mean look at the url below) ok heres the url.

http://afflicted.*************/nav2.jpg

it looks better in png format. I know i will need to add onto this image to make it functional but what do you think if i changed it?

Not to be offensive Smurf, but my feeling on this skin is why? It's too big to be considered a "compact" skin, made any smaller would make the labels unreadable, and too plain to be a 'function over form' skin...

this looks exactly like the new tutorial on robouk's site, minus the unusual carbon fiber triangles on the top and bottom

heres a link:

Also, I think your "idea" came from Robouk's new tutorial, a little to heavily if you ask me: http://robouk.mchost.com/tuts/tutori...utorial=audio2

I think you either need to make significant changes or give it up, unless Robouk gives you the OK.

My arse! You must share a phsycic connection with Robouk then, nearly idential shape, similar display colors/font, battery icon, 3 buttons/knobs on the bottom, round control on the right with identical symbols, oh, and a plug on the left.

If you are going to rip, at least fess up to it and move on rather than continuing to embarrass yourself...

Hehehe That's so funny! Man those skins are identical, as soon as I saw your SS I knew exactly where it was from.

Ah, yeah mean something like this?

Sorry I was harsh before, it just seemed like a blatant rip, but I guess you were both inspired by the same design. Once again, my apologies, carry on...

Actually, after reading Smurf's last post, I re-read the tutorial on Robouk's site and he clearly says in the beginning it was based on minidisc remote. Perhaps I should have caught that earlier...

Yeah thats where the tutorial came from, I also said at the end, be creative if your going to make an interface/skin not just copy it.

Anyhow, all is well.
