Linux SHOUTcast 1.8.9 - How Do I Exit
How in the world do I exit the DNAS screen of SHOUTcast (Linux) after running it? I am running a console. There, I need to do administration, and the server is hogging the screen up, nor letting me go back to the shell to do stuff. How do I make it run in the background, or at least exit it? It is driving me crazy. Also, after the configuring, it is down. But when I use http:// to connect, it connects correctly. With the page saying 'Server is now down.' Do I need to connect the source to get it working? How do I access the commands, etc. just like windows? I am currently hiring some windows streamer source (I know how to configure the way out of the routers). So, what am I doing wrong?
I am using Red Hat Linux 8.0.

Control-Z... it's the shells best friend, and YOURS too!
Read the Documentation... be sure to run it in the background after you get back to the prompt.
or hell, you can always "kill da pid, kill da pid" *runs around bonfire with stake in hand* "kill da pid" (not that you need to, but it sure the hell is fun!)
