WELL...looks like they found a bug in it already. Can't wait for 1.2.1 to come out then.

Dunno why they had to pull off Mozilla 1.1 as well, in addition to 1.2.

Wow...that was fast.

Mozilla 1.2.1 is now out. Dunno why they removed the popup manager from 1.2 Beta, though.

Heh, I'm sticking with Mozilla!

If anything, do I seem like the only one who thinks Mozilla is running a bit slow for me. Not for speed, but for running the program itself. It seems to be sucking more resoures than IE 6.0, which I was using prior to my switch. Any suggestions?

No bloat, but because it uses Gecko as well, it renders as well as Mozilla.

Can someone tell me where the hell Netscape put the popup add blocking thingie in 7.0.1? It says the put it in but it's not where it always is in Mozilla.

What the hell ever happened to the Popup Manager that Mozilla 1.2 Beta had? I missed that one, and liked it much better than the one for Netscape 7.01.

Mozilla 1.3 Alpha has just been released ^_^

I see my popup manager is back, so that's a good thing. Maybe they were hiding it the whole time.

New bells and whistles added: You can now train the Mosaic Killer to tell the difference between good mail and junk mail. Very useful feature indeed.

I never really saw a point for the popup manager. Who in their right mind would ever use that thing to allow certain sites of their choice to deliver unrequested popups? I mean, come on, that's just plain dumb. I prefer to disable popups altogether.

code:
Edit
• Preferences...
• Advanced
• Scripts & Plugins
• Open Unrequested Windows (Disable)

True enough, that was the way I have been doing it. However, I have seen some web pages that will not work unless you allow Javascript to open unrequested windows. Not all windows like that are popup ads, anyways, and I'm not about to go harp to their webmaster that their site needs to be written so that my browser can view it correctly.

Actually, the popup blocker in Mozilla is quite well done in that it will still allow popup windows to be created, but only if they are requested by the user (ie. the user clicks a link to "activate" the popup.) Even JavaScript popups will work, assuming that they require you to click a link to activate them.

(...thinks he already knew that--eh, who cares)

Okay, here's something I want to know. It says that parts of the source code are available under the Netscape Public License or the Mozilla Public License, and soon to be under the MPL 1.1. I know the page that says this is outdated, which is why I want to know this.

Is all of Mozilla's source code under the Mozilla Public License 1.1 yet, or not?
