quick opinion if anyone has time

no, I'm not dead, but I'm ready to shoot myself, promised a skin to a friend for his birthday which is... TOMORROW. Shoot me now. Anyways, except for the close/shade buttons and the shade modes, I'm done main and eq. Sacrificed smooth animation for different appearances to fit into the pic on the eq, the shuf/rep are the girl's necklace and tattoo, they change and umm... think that's about it for now... and yeah, since it's for a friend it probably doesn't HAVE to be perfect, but I'm a bit of a nitpicker so I want to do the best I can in the next umm... *sighs* 8 hours. I figure if I can get through the playlist I have it made... screenshot attached...

EQ bars like that might not look too crash hot when sliding, but they make the skin look great the rest of the time. I like hte ones you've got. Though the leaves on the bars themselves look a bit disjointed in regards to the leaves below the bars. But that's just nitpicking I guess - it looks fine.

The whole fence effect and everything looks really good. I guess my only real suggestion there would be to put some faint bits of grass (like you have at the bottom) between some of the fence posts, about halfway up - to give it a more 3d look (ie. it would look like some grass is behind the fence, and not just in front of it)

I disagree, I think a skin for your friend should be more perfect, if anything. Thankfully, this one looks great. The way you've managed make the pictures sprawl all over the skin without looking at all cramped is brilliant

The only things I don't like that much are the borders. (a) the border around the whole skin - perhaps it would look better if it stood out from the rest of the skin more, rather than just being darker with a slight shadow. Maybe even a one pixel line between it and the rest of the skin...your call. (b) the borders around the numbers and the vis look too grey to me. Since everything else is covered in colour, it just doesn't seem to match

the noses and the mouths of the two girls in the foreground are extremely faint. I know that that's how it is in the style of anime, but it looks to me like they might have gotten fainter than they were supposed to during the process of resizing, etc. Perhaps some subtle pencil work would help there

the on/auto buttons are fine, but - and this is a really small point - perhaps make the green (top) half of the buttons match the leaves in the EQ more (ie. more silvery blue and less green)

I find the font pretty hard to read. Perhaps it's just too blurry or smooth because of the JPG

the "previous" and "play" buttons are much fainter than the other cbuttons - though they don't need to be, since they're not in front of any vital part of the pic

Good stuff! Are you publishing this one, or is it an exclusive present?

LMAO!!! Now why didn't I think of that...

Ok, got the text under control, it was just the font I used, forgot to rasterize and sharpen the sucker, brilliance at 2am...

I'll touch up the anime girls features shortly and apply the other changes as soon as possible, the main border is the only thing I might stick with depending how it comes out over the rest. Thanks for being so detailed, it really helps! ^_^ (especially when I'm running on caffiene and not much else ) Now hopefully I can knock this out by tomorrow afternoon... -_- oh man, sleep sounds good about now... zzzZZZzzz but must finish...

I've just tried to download it from 1001 three times, and it didn't work
