"I can't hear myself talk"

anybody know of a good freeware app that allows me to record a segment of speach from direct input through microphone(in upwards of 20 minutes)? Can winamp do this?

Im not sure if linein:// works with the microphone input, i've never tried it myself.

If not, im sure you'll find something suitible on download.com

Do you have a CD burner? use the Wave editing softwar that came with it./ Nero and EZCD come with software that can record.

After a half hour of testing and tweaking, i got it to work! This is cool. I have already made a small collection of sounds and statements.
