any one knows Anders Widhja ????

Its a bit of a to big coincidence that he submitted this skin when i was making a same thing.

original thread: standard font
his version : Noteskin
my version : notepad

they look like different skins...so you should know there is little we can do, check the readmes maybe (and you should also know that this should be in the rip forum )

There are 5 million Windows XP skins and 10 million Media Player skins, so you should not be surprised that there are 2 notepad skins. I'm sure you two aren't the only people to ever think of basing a skin on notepad.
What are you trying to say? That Anders ripped you? His skin doesn't look anything like yours, except the titlebars and borders, which are Microsoft's work, and not yours.

No no, if i thought about that it being a rip, i would take a complete diffrent way to say this. I just wanted to point to the fact that these submitions are only seperated by a few weeks and I think he copied the idea specially after reading his comments on his skin.
But I really dont mind that.

Just pointing to the fact that I think one should be carefull with spreading ideas in this place.

I dont know if he got the idea from you but yes someone could steal your idea if you post it here. After all this is a public forum.

if you look at the author's comments, Anders' comment is basically saying the same thing as simon's, and there is very little chance of a such a coincindence ocurring, so Anders must have gotten the idea from simon

ah, ok. Yeah, you're totally right. Sorry, I didn't read the guys comments for some reason. Pretty stupid of him, since his skin, unlike yours, doesn't look anything like "you are working in Notepad [to fool your boss]"

Indeed, I've felt a bit apprehensive at times posting ideas and skins-in-progress. But in this case, the same thing could have happened after you completed and published your skin: someone could haev liked the idea and made their own version. The only real risk with someone copying your idea from the forum would be if they finished their skin before you did, and yours ended up looking like the copy - which is what happened in this case

I know, I know. and in this case i really dont mind if he got the idea from me or not. If I have a good idea i write it down on paper, but not in the forums
