The Living Poets Society-Web Page
The Living Poets Society.
As many of you know, we have had The Living Poets Society, and a number of spinoffs, on this Winamp General Forum. It seemed to have great popularity, and many talented people, including myself, have posted on those threads. Due to its great popularity, I was thinking of making a Living Poets Society Website, where everyones poems can be posted for the world to see. Depending on the response i get from this thread, the site may go ahead. Your Yays and Nays count. Plese, tell me if you think this would be a good idea, and if you have any suggestions, i will definatley try to incorporate them into the site.

No. It would create a dichotomy between here and there, forcing the Living Poets Society to become an entity seperate from the Forums. As a result, the Forums will lose one of its greatest assets.
It would end up being like #*******. If people wish the "world to see" their works, they can publish them independently. For the freedom to express myself in my own way without fear of being censored or banned. |

Seeing as all the work has not been copyrighted, I would take all the poems, steal the rights, and print and bind them into a Winamp.com anthology for quick cash.

Seeing as how creation is sufficient for copyright, and how I'm a wannabe-lawyer, I'd sue the pants off you, take all the money, then charge a 99% lawyering fee on all the plaintiffs

You can be sure I would have used the profits and took a permanent retirement to sue-free lawless aruba or tahiti.

In that case, I'll get an extradition of you for thread derailment:
![]() and sue you once you get back to the States. For the freedom to express myself in my own way without fear of being censored or banned. |

all my poems are posted on my page before being posted, and it states
a copyright at the bottom, so therefore they are copyrighted here by default. |

What is *******, by the way? I've heard of it, but never known what it is.
And you dont have to get huff about it, hester. The reason I put it in the forums for discussion in the first place was so that i could know what people thought about it.
