[FreeBSD] Troubles starting Shoutcast :'(
Hello there!
I got some major troubles with shoutcast; I start shoutcast using ./sc_serv and when ik runs i use ctrl+z and then bg, but after a few minutes the server stops running! I also like to make a user called shoutcast to run the shoutcast server! Can someone please help me out, so my shoutcast server can keep running? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it! EDIT : it seems the server cracks if I switch songs, the error is: Segmentation fault (core dumped) ./sc_serv anyone??! Last edited by Whatashockr; 16th December 2002 at 21:04. |

Hmm I think I found the solution; I guess shoutcast tried to write in a logfile in which it had no permissions..
Thanks for all the help and support
