Best free web hosting?
I'm starting a website and was wondering what my best bet is for free webhosting. I know there are a bunch of crap places like geocities and angerlfire but I remember stumbling across a site that provided free hosting with no ad banners and a bunch of storage space. Does anyone know of such a place? What is my best option?

If you want to make a decent webpage with no pop-ups or banner ads, you'll probably end up having to pay. If you don't really give a crap (like me), Geocities or Freeservers work OK.

"You may order a 50MB SQL Server 2000 Database for only $35 per year per database." and on win2k? that sucks balls. i would maybe consider it if it were linux and you got sql included. |

If you like the idea of free CGI hosting/scripting as well (I know I do), try www.************* . They put a few banners on your pages, but the CGI hosting more than makes up for it.
