Winamp3 does not read metadata stream from an Icecast server

I've asked this in the winamp3 tech support forum, but I'd figure I'd ask here too.

When connecting (as a client) to an Icecast stream that has metadata headers that provide stream name, artist and song name, Winamp3 doesn't even read any of it. Only a solitary "1." shows up in the screen.

I've confirmed that XMMS in linux connecting as a client receieves the song name and artist just fine.

I didn't see any option in Winamp3 to enable it to see the metadata. Is there a way to do it?
