avs editor?

Can anyone give me clue why I cant get the editor window up for AVS v2.5.1,(winamp2) it just seemed to stop working. and for v2.3.2 it comes up but has no effect, a bit of a pain in the ass since I was gonna do visuals at a party and could only get it to do one preset(a good one,but kind of repetitive)also any tips for increased beat sensitivity to a line in(from a microphone)would be appreciated, thanks a lot

Are there any error messages when you try to open the editor?

'u' and 'y' switch presets, as does space

When all else fails, re-install. Just copy out your AVS dir first.

And 2.5.1 is for WA3. You should probably use either 2.5 or 2.5.1, since they're (it's) the most up-to-date on built-in effects. If re-instsalling AVS doesn't work, re-install Winamp, then downgrade to Winamp 2.x (if you're using WA3), then sacrifice a goat (those llama wanabees) to Vishnu and pray for mercy, cos you're shit out of luck - unless you want to reinstall Windows...

Lost avs Editing window

You May Have Draged It Down Below or Under The Task Bar.Unlock The Task Bar Drag it Down And See If it is There.Failing That,Uninstal And Reinstal.(I Had A Similar Problem,Where It Was Just Off The Screen And The Mouse Pointer Would Not Pick It Up.)
