Confused about multiple channels/relaying
MY SETUP:
I currently have a 2 PC's on my home network on a linksys router and cable modem. On PC#1 I run nothing but winamp and a Shoutcast server. The dedicated PC has a radio/Scanner connected to it and it works fine. I even have a TZO.com account to follow my IP address (http://k1tj.tzo.com:8000) Works great. I want to run a 2nd stream with a different source (second scanner). Can I use my other PC (PC#1) to do this???? How do I configure the shoutcast server? And how do I access it when it is up? You sure can. You can run both on 1 machine, too if you want.
Follow the same steps you used to setup station #1 for #2. Configure a different port base (remember that portBase and portBase+1 need to be free). Configure router to forward the new ports to machine #2. |
