Connection refused

Hi All,

Sorry to be posting an often asked question (but I have`nt yet seen a post which has resolved the problem).

I am trying to run my shoutcast server and am getting this nessage:

<01/18/03@08:14:22> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: **.***.*.*:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection refused))

I`ve tried allsorts of things to resolve the problem, including shutting down all internet using software. I`ve even tried running my server without my firewall turned on (usually not to be recommended) just incase it was a port config problem, but still nothing. I am quite sure that nothing else is using either ports 8000 or 8001.

Does this mean that this is a problem with my ISP? I can tell you that four days ago I had my server up and running with no probs but now I`m getting all these problems and don`t know why??

Please help!!
