AOL Loses $44,900,000,000.........in One Quarter!

More proof that AOL is the cement by which Time Warner's feet are in while swimming the channel's:

So easy to dump, no wonder it's #1 in amount of money lost in a quarter.

Maybe its because they charge $30+ a month for shitty dialup service which is

1) slow

2) amount of busy signals and disconnections are ludicrous

3) they spend WAY too much money making those damned CDs nobody uses, as well as needless advertisements

4) their mail service is a joke

5) their browser sucks

the list goes on and on

Lol. Around me at the local hardware stores, there are literally tons of those craptastic cds in a big cardboard box/bucket type thing.

I propose Nullsoft goes broke and files bankruptcy, then starts back up again in a month or two to be clear of the AOL ownership.

"Welcome to the Island of people who know too much."..."Did you really think balloons would stop him?!"
See what I'm listening too.

looks like AOL needs to start doing some serious slobbing of the knob.

Just about those AOL CDs. I work at a grocery store, and AOL keeps sending us boxes of CDs to put out on display. When we get them, we just take them straight to the back and compact them.

It is really funny seeing a box of shattered AOL CDs... I never get tired of doing it.

LOL. ANYWAY. I see Shoutcast going pay services pretty soon, most likely in the summer of 03. And that's just for the broadcaster. I don't think listeners should have to pay to listen and then support a station with donations.

If a listener pays, the payment should go to the station as a monthly donation, not the service like Shoutcast...that's fro the braodcaster to pay for.

Anyone know who I have to call for AOL to send my company a BIG box of CDs?

Thanks
JE
