What quality should i set ???

Hi fellows,i'm from China,i'm a BEGINNER.i set my radio with Shoutcast 2 days ago.i've got many friends in Europe and America,i want them to listen.but you know the distance..ach,too far.
and,i want to know,what quality is the best choice for me ?

P.S:i use cable,and the server is my OWN computer.

first figure out exactly how fast your upload is.

you will probably have to keep the bitrate pretty low 24kbps or 56kbps if you want more then one person to listen.
