Decent site. Try giving some textures to the wireframes on the left.
Could also use some better computers.

They're coming. Just takes a little bit to make the "build you own" page.

Discount for winamp forum members?

[edit to stay on-topic]
Site is visually appealing.

How about moving the header orange/black slice a left above the "T" in "The mission" to give it a little more vertical alignment?

Nice site visually although I do disagree with some of the things I won't find in your computers.

If life calls and you're busy, let the answering machine pick-up.

Just so you know, my previous avatar was NOT a swastika, nor did it have much similarity to one. Just thought I'd clear that up since I cannot use my own original art work.

Agh, I didn't see that you wouldn't use any intel chips. You have to use the Pentium IV. It is by far, the best processor available right now.

like a modem. some of us will spend every penny we have just to get the perfect computer..yet cannot afford dsl.

It'll take you some time to get over the image of me naked in the shower......mind you don't masturbate to hard thinking about it...."

well specifically I disagree with the Zip Drive and the modem thingy. I do have broadband but I use my modem as a caller ID device...theres always a use for a modem. And true a CD does have more space, but sometimes a zip drive is just more convinient and quicker.

but, cds are about $.10, zips are much more. Its a cost/space thing. Maybe i'll add a "if you want section" with those particular items.

Yeah, you shouldn't just not carry things, just leave it as an option. Use something else as the default. For modems, I seriously doubt someone would be mad at you for including it. It only takes 1 PCI slot and costs almost nothing.

Perhaps you're right. The "if you want" section looks like a strong possibility.

that black curve by your navbar is too antialiased (thew curve is out too wide, it makes it look almost 2px thick), try running a sharpen filter on it. the "W" in digiworks should be moved right 1px, (and maybe the "works" turned black?). and you can't spell average, you have spelt it "averace" (or something, 2nd line of the text).

it's not a spelling error. the tails on the text have been cut off. so ps, gs, ys etc. won't work. i forgot to mention that.

I think Tiger Direct does bulk supplying, I've never ordered in bulk from there, but for individual products they are very reasonably priced and blazing fast...you can almost order the stuff and then wait at your front door for the delivery.

The deals look great. If you can get a good (dependable, economical) supplier I would try to add options (modem, P4, DVD, ect.). I personaly prefer AMD but I have a hard time recomending them to people here. There are no suppliers that sell them in our area and if someone needs their 'puter serviced around here it's a lot easier to get someone to look at it if they are familiar with the system. I have to order in the parts for my computers. And since I do all my own repair work it's no big deal for me, but when people come to me for advice on what to buy I tell them to stick with what is popular and most common. Unless they're really looking for performance.

Thanks for the advice moe. AMD has a hard road to plow. If I can find a supplier that has 56k modems, I'll start including them. But the modems have to be good quality. For now they'll be added to a seperate page for extra parts.

About the spelling and formatting errors: The site was made in a day to reserve the web adress and at least get something up there. Thore errors are going to be fixed soon.

I and my webmaster love the comments we're receiving on this forum. Please keep replying.

OK, will do sean. I seriously would use eBay or uBid, though. You can get anything on there. You just have to make sure you have a backup in case if they don't have something or you don't get it.

The systems look good, a little on the expensive side, but im guessing the build quality would be better than average which makes it worthwhile.

Im glad you havent gone down the road most suppliers go down - using an el cheapo all in one board with the fastest cpu available to trick the buyer into thinking its better than machine x because it sounds faster than it really is.

Also good to see you're using 512mb of ram even in the lower spec system.

One thing that does puzzle me though, is why you dont include XP home with the lower spec system (cheaper than 2k pro) and and an option of 2k pro or XP pro with the higer spec system.

Cheap parts are my number one enemy. You buy a PC, like you said, and the parts are cheap them it breaks un-repairably. Thats the whole reason I'm in the biz. Right there. Each computer is a custom job with human care placed into each and every single one. Not to mention a three day test to make sure the computer is working to specifications. You've caught this company at its near birth. I have to get a deal with Microsoft to get bulk copies of XP home and Pro. Any suggestions? How can I come out the winner? Not getting syphoned copy per copy from the big M.

256MB of PC266 DDR-SDRAM is the lowest I go on memory. Thats the lowest of the low. Once again, the pushing foreward aspect.
