Ho do you convert CD to MP3?

I have a new Palm device and have moved many tunes into it. I want to convert a music CD to copy over to my handheld. How do I get the tunes off the CD and onto the desktop in MP3 format using Winamp?

Download and install CDex.

you can always download a programme called dbpoweramp music converter. Very good programme and very dtraight forward to use. It gives you the option to convert your cd's to many other different files also. Good Luck!
