Ever seen those shows like Oprah or Maury Povich and they have some lame ass psychic that can communicate with your long lost relatives? What's their secret? Is it rigged? Or just plain BULLSHIT!!
First off, why are people so damn desperate and gullible to such lies! All I know it's just another way to make money by telling straight out lies, and maybe make people feel better. south park did a wonderful spoof of those psychics. stan tried to prove it was a trick by pulling it off himself, and they offered him a show and john edwards tried to kill him. classic.

Isn't it obvious? People always like hearing about nice things that might happen to them and of course people are intrigued by all supernatural phenomena. A lot of people that visit these psychics don't believe in the supernatural but are just intirgued by it.
And you can't blame 'psychics' for taking advantage of people's crudelty. Everyone does that. |

There is no one with those abilities...if people could foresee the future, do you think they'd be living in small apartments, reading tarots cards in some small dingy rented office. They'd be living in big mansions, having made a fortune on the lottery or betting on horse races, or in the stock market. Then they could use their abilities to solve crimes, or even prevent them. The so-called psychics seem only to have the ability to foresee things like "you will marry a rich man" or other such drivel. The Amazing Randi has a large cash prize for any psychic who can pass a simple test of predicting the future, and it has gone unclaimed for many years. It's all a bunch of crap.

But why do we need to know the future then wouldn't that take away the excitment of life its the same as saying "oh I foretold this bit already" like a repeated episode of the simpsons or something. Seeing what would happen would ruin life itself. Then there would be no point of life, because you would already know it.
