Why don't you make winamp look like 0.20 did. it takes up way less space and is less anoying.

Why don't you...
... make a 0.20 skin for WA2.x?
... make a 0.20 plugin UI for WA2.x? ... make a 0.20 skin for WA3.0? "Beer?" |

Why don't they make 8-tracks anymore? Why don't people wash their clothes in the rivers anymore? Why don't people line their houses with Asbestos and have pipes made of lead anymore?

OK. the above post is dumb. The skins won't fix much but the UI could work accept that the menus would be over crouded.

Winamp 0.20 was cool man. I'll start working on a UI soon. Does anybody have the 0.20 SDK or a list of every winamp version ever made?

Yes, it was made by me, and it'll never be published at winamp.com, I only made it for shits and giggles, took about 30 minutes from start to finish, including the maki script to control it

I'll thank you for not editing my work, and you can't edit a maki file, it's a compiled code file , unless you have the original source file there is nothing you can do with it, it can't be reverse enginered, and no , your not having the original source file to edit.

New version, worked on it for 10 minutes this morning
![]() Now features, inactive/active titlebars, a la standard windows way of working Added a little easter egg in it somewhere ![]() Put the "Exit" option onto the menu as well, in keeping with the original , could never figure that out before, but it was staring me in the face all along. code: /slaps forehead Rest of it is pretty much how it works in the original now. No, you still can't have the source code ![]() /attachment deleted, download only at 1001winampskins.com http://www.1001winampskins.com/skin_...s.html?id=2908 |

Excuse me, did I acctually give you permission to redistribute my code and files?, Don't believe I did. You also managed to fuck up the about box as well, at the same times tripling the file size.
I'll make the changes to the bar and post it up at http://www.1001winamskins.com The menus won't be changing any time soon, the whole gag here was to keep the file size low, the menu images are WA3 standard, not windows standard, I don't intend to bloat the file up any more. And I'll remind you once again, don't redistribute files created by me,my xml and maki files are my copyright , by all means alter them, but leave them on your hard drive. |

When I posted the wa020.wal attachment I did for your “entertainment value” and not so you could rewrite it. Please respect Mr Jones’s request not to develop his Winamp skin any further. It was very thoughtful of him when he originally posted on the forms and has taken the time to make it even better. It is his skin and he has the rights to it, not you. --- Mr Jones... My apologies to you. It was not my intention for your WA020 skin to be ripped. Once again Thank You for the skin. |

Ahh, go on then, fixed up some windows style menus as well, you can download it here.
http://www.1001winampskins.com/skin_...s.html?id=2908 Still got it under 12kb ![]() The revised version should bork if you now go changing things around, the maki script is looking for specific elements and tags, if you change or remove them the skin should cease to work ![]() Accept no subsitutes. |
