Some of my friends who are 15 usually take sips from my beer. I don't care if they're "sips", but if they "slug", I'll beat their asses, whether I'm thier parent or not...They're usually caffine-high as much as I'm alcohol-drunken, anyway, but that doesn't matter...I'm a mix of both...

With that said, you know I drink alcohol, although I don't smoke. I don't get smoking either. How the hell do people do it? I mean, it must give you a buzz or something, but what's so calming about inhaling smoke? It's probably no different from boozing up, but...I don't know...At least I can kiss a fellow alcoholic, at least their conditions aren't as bad as yellow-teethed, smoke-breath...Yeah...

I speed on open roads when traffic is near dead and there are no cops around, but I don't street race...That's about the only illegal thing I do...Aside from skate at the Waterfront Park when skating is prohibited there, stealing people's newspapers when they're out-of-town, vandalizing trash cans set near shut-down stores,...

A very close Japanese friend I knew a while ago once said to me "Watashi no koto wo oboeta, onegai shimasu...Yakusoku?"

I forgot his name though...

I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs never have except drinking and I'm 18. But I might try Ecstasy, well, when your heart can't take the lonely-ness anymore you just don't know what to do, so, having Oral orgies with 15+ men and women together just doesn't seem that bad anymore.

Oh well....
I'll see how things go

I never touched alcohol (except for a few sips now and then, from my parents when I was nothing but an inquisitive adolescent) until I turned 19 (legal age here) and I have a couple drinks on the weekend, if I go to a club or a bar I'll have 2 beers usually, rarely anything more. I've been drunk once and only intend to do it on special occasions (like my friend's birthday party next weekend at an Irish pub ).

I've never touched cigarettes or drugs of ANY sort, and I'm never going to. Both of those activities are just straight up stupid and I'm disgusted by both of them. A bit of casual drinking now and then is actually good for you, plus it helps loosen you up to talk to girls

[EDIT] Right, the breaking the law part... umm, I speed all the time, but only when there's no cops around, and not in school/playground zones. Seeing as the speed limits here are 50 km/h in most places, how the hell am I supposed to get anywhere at that speed? As for stealing stuff from stores and what have you, never, but myself and my co-workers steal cookies out of the vending machines at my work with coathangers sometimes, lol. [/EDIT]

I drink, but I'm 18 so that's legal . I drank before I was 18, but that's also legal in the UK - it's buying alcohol that's illegal here, and drinking it on public premises (which I did as well... But I digress ).

I don't smoke, don't do weed (...much). Don't do any other drugs.

I really do hate people who judge people on their drinking/smoking/drug usage. If you want to do it, it's your funeral.

I do take issue with some US states' utterly stupid drinking laws - where anyone under 21 is completely prohibited from drinking. It encourages people to go out once they're 21 and drink completely irresponsibly. In the UK you're allowed to drink with a meal from the age of 14, and the laws are enforced nowhere near as strictly as they are in some states. And I think it encourages a much better attitude - by the time you reach 18 you're used to it anyway.

For long you live and high you fly, but only if you ride the tide, and balanced on the biggest wave you race towards an early grave.

I confess. My mates and I used to hang around near the Texaco garage drinking Cider, when I was about 15. Shit times, really, but it's just what people our age did.

My current habits are well documented. I stopped smoking because my then-girlfriend pursuaded me to. I still drink to excess, smoke the occasional reefer, etc. I'm not willing to comment on the other topics raised

honey, if you've been drug-free all your life, best not to start with X. its a major drug that without proper drug background can be way way to much for you to handle. just forget that.

as for the actualy question...i like certina beers, white Zen and blackberry wine, spicy bloddy marys, mudd slides ROCK ROCK ROCK! its like a milkshake.

i used to swig from the wiskey bottle, but i'm not quite as young or as punk as i once was....so i gave that up.

i still smoke...and i love to smoke. its one of those things i do for myself because it makes me happy breifly. yes it will kill you...what wont? my motto...life is short, do whatever you feel like. a bit reckless, yes.....yet no regrets.

I drink on occasion, used to drink a lot, got sick of it.
I used to smoke, wasn't ever really addicted.
I've smoked Pot a few times but it just made me feel like a complete idiot so that never caught on.
Did Ecstasy once one new years eve in Mexico, had a blast though it was a lot like being drunk, just not as much loss of balance. I wouldn't mind doing it again, but I doubt that will ever happen.
When I was a kid I used to steal free match books from a convenience store near my house.

I like smoking even though I don't do it anymore, I am totally against anti-smoking laws like in california. It's the restraunt owner's property, they should get to decided if they want to let people smoke or not. It should not be legislated.

i feel bad :|

I'm seventeen and:
I've drunk heavily before, binge drinking
I've smoked cigs regularly before (emotional distress, for three months)
I've smoked pot (enjoyed the hell out of it, then found out the g/f hated it, so that was that )
I've used DXM (Dextromethorphan, in coughsyrup)

DXM was and still is an interest of mine, though I don't touch the stuff anymore. my friends and I were practicing extracting it from cough syrup, as most cough syrup is repulsive :|

but I'm clean now, so I'm a happy camper
(they're really nothing more than idle diversions to me)

I don't hate smokers, but nor do I have any respect for them either. Personally I think that they are stupid people. Watch someone die of lung cancer and see the effect it has on those left behind, and you might get an insight into why I feel that way.

I'm also curious as to why people feel the need to share their past indescretions with the rest of the world??? I'm no angel, been hauled in once or twice, but thats all you are going to know

I drink on occasion (Can't really afford it), but I'm 20, so it's legal. I've been drinking since I was 17, however.
Drugs: I smoke weed pretty regularly. Once or twice a week. It's heaps cheaper than alcohol, and it's better, IMO. Had meth once, ontop of some weed (called a snow cone). Same with speed. Might do them again, probably not. I just wanted to see what it was like.
Other illegal stuff, no.

I'm surprised how many people there are here against smoking cigs/pot. The thing is, you might think it's the most evil thing ever. Why is that do you think? Most people would say they "just know." People have grown up with certain rules and beliefs pressed down on them, no matter where they are from. The general standard is "marijuana is evil and deadly"/"alcohol destroys your brain and makes you do bad things".... that sort of thing.

I used to be in that area of people, I know I can quote myself on here saying that I would never try to do drugs. Ever. That was before I got introduced to a different side of culture, a side where things are true and different, but this group is a very very very outnumbered minority. Nobody listens to the minority anymore. The minority in today's world is generally erased and covered up.

So all of the ignorant fucks out there, just know that what you are saying is ignored by those who know better. While you say you know better, the "experienced" ones can go on ignoring you, not because of ignorance actually, but because of knowledge. This is a message to all of the poor people, and remember it in case it comes up again. They can go on saying "I'm right, you're wrong." But that only makes it right in their minds. Yeah, I'm saying that very same thing. I'm right you're wrong. But what makes THAT right is that it can be proven, as long as you want it to be proven. Lies can always win over truth. Lies can't change the truth though.

I respect those who have tried drugs and given up with good reason, such as "girlfriend didn't like it" or "people getting messed up on harder stuff". That's your logical choice.

I don't drink; that is harder to stay on top of than marijuana
I don't do any hard drugs (cocaine, heroin). who does?; that stuff is plain deadly and addictive
I don't do psychedelics (shrooms/acid/LSD); i'm afraid of a bad trip.

oh yeah, pot smoke will not give you lung cancer/yellow teeth/bad breath/whatever. pot smoke burns white, unlike tobacco. there may be tar in a joint, which ain't exactly good far you, but if you use a waterpipe, that filters out the yucky shit like dirt or anything that isn't smoke. there's no gateway effect, except what is introduced through friends and people. it's not marijuana itself that does that, it's the atmosphere.

If someone wants to challenge me, I'd be glad to participate. Just no fucking flame wars please. I've started enough of them in my life.

pot is perfectly fine, it's a plant for crying out loud!!
I loved pot! still do, though I don't use it. (my g/f is straight edge and she got on me for it )
just that and alcohol, and I can understand her reasoning, she'd like for me to be around for a long time to come
and my friends were all pissed at me because I was doing it "for the wrong reason"
fuck anyone who thinks like that, it's the person's choice to do what they want.

and the reason heroin is so deadly is because you usually get it from the street. if you were able to get a 100% pure sample of it, it'd be safe like taking aspirin, as long as you knew your body and what you were doing. heroin withdrawl doesn't kill you, only if you're already bad off (like homeless people). all I hear is "EVIL THIS! EVIL THAT!! YADDA YADDA YADDA!!". look at the chemicals first!! heroin is just a really potent opiate! yeah, same family as DXM, an over the counter med and morphine. it's just a LOT stronger and a little more unsure. if you get a street sample, it's probably adulterated, which leads to accidental OD's. it's no more unusual than any other chemical, there's no roulette or chance of instant death.

if you use chemicals, fine. as long as it doesn't affect me. if you used and chose to discontinue use of chemicals, fine. I'm happy for you. If you refuse to use chemicals and hold disdain and animosity towards those who have used, use or have chosen do discontinue use of chemicals, you're simply a close-minded person who has absolutely no ground to make a stand on.
The ONLY exception I can see to that is those who have personally been negatively affected by chem use, i.e. growing up with an abusive alcoholic parent. Even then you have no right to be enforcing your will upon others, simply choose to not associate with them.

I partied like there was no tomorrow when I was in high school. I got drunk, smoked pot. I tried Acid once, and didn't like it too much. I got addicted to cocaine when I was older. Damn shit nearly killed me! Luckily for me, I was able to get my shit together, and now I've been clean for over 10 years. There's no way in any kind of hell that I would ever start doing that again!

true, that is pretty dumb...

if you do it, just accept that you'll likely get cancer. there are, of course, exceptions to everything.
my grandmother smokes like a friggin' chimney and went through quadruple bypass heart surgery two years ago at 70 and she's still alive and well.
a great deal of it is in the genes.
besides, it's pointless to try and protect yourself from everything.

Re: How many people drink, do drugs, or anthing else illegal

Do you drink (under 21)? Juice, water, milk and Malta. Everything else is iffy.

Do you do drugs of any kind? Painkillers after riding.

Do you maybe steal? Glances.

Do you do anything else? Yes, as long as it is not an animal.

Or maybe you do all of them! Refer to responses above.

Believe me, hgnis. If I would've had the strength of will then that I have now I wouldn't have started down that path of destruction. Of course, there would've been quite a few other things I wouldn't have done, either. But, we won't get into that....let's just leave it as lessons learned hard are lessons learned well.

Mate of mine was once addicted to cocaine, and he said giving up cigarettes is harder. He smokes probably 2 or 3 packs a week, and used to get very pure coke. Personally, I don't wanna go past snow cones, and I probably won't have any more of them anyhow.
