Odd, stupid problem.

This may sound weird, but it's been bugging me.

It's about my hair. A third of it is different from the rest... not in colour...

It is...

- curly
- shiny
- hard
- thick
- very curly
- so very curly I once fit a pen through a hair

Here's a sample of what's up with Cleanup's hair.

Behold the picture quality.

[Edit] Top left corner = my normal hair [/edit]

[Edit2] I was never born with curly hair. My hair is very disobedient. This problem seemed to come alive... some time... I forget when. [/Edit2]

Maybe. But it doesn't seem to happen to anybody else I know who uses hair gel, even the same brand.

Has your hair always been like this? If not, was it previously curly or straight?

K... First of all... If that wiry hair is pubic hair... The weird...

If it's not, that's ok. Depending on what kind of look you're going for, use either a straightener or a curler on your hair. I have wavy hair, and of course I want it straight... I find really the best thing for me to do is when I get out of the shower I quickly towel dry my haie (So it's still really damp) and then I use some (not much) hair wax and pull the hair straight. While it's drying, use a TINY bit of wax to keep down the frizz and to keep it going straight.

However. If you want curly hair, then here's some tips... If you have naturally wavy hair, just take a little bit of styling gel and curl the part around your finger after running some gel through your hair. The best way to do this is just to let it dry naturally with this method, otherwise it will look like you're trying to go for an afro. This technique of twisting gelled hair around your fingers makes a really nice soft curl, but you can't really get the best effect if your hair is naturally straight.

Depending on how long it is, you can try feathering it. I find that when I pull my hair straight and feather it a bit, just the ends curl slightly up with the natural wave in my hair, and the feathered ends look really nice. (My hair's pretty short, so some guys could try that, and it doesn't look too girly. I mean, there's a girl's way of doing their hair, and there's the guy's way... Use your own instincts.)

Also, if your hair is cut with scissors, it has a whole different look than if it's cut with a razor. (NOT a shaving razor, dumbass! With a hairdresser's razor!) The way to make it spikable and look cool (It also gives it a fairly 'airy' look) is to take the hair and cut it like this /.

Yeah, I have a feeling that you're tired of my hair-tips... So yeah... Try something. You never know what you can do. And, play with the parting of your hair, too.

Raven, you've wasted your time. I'm not looking for styling tips, I'm looking for what the hell is wrong with my hair.

And I'm sure none of those techniques will straighten the strange hair.

And for the last time, those hairs are from my head! not my crotch!

Hehehh, this thread rocks. Anyways, My friend Noel had that happen to him, the fuc*ed up crazy hair thing.

One day we were just hangin out at the local beach. The lake wasnt known for having any bad algie or "lake itch" or anything, a pretty clear lake actually. Well, I dont know why this day was different... but before we went swiming he had really straight hair, and after we went swiming his hair was really really wavy, borderline curly - always from that day forward. It was like night and day, before swim and after swim.

It really pissed him off good and well for a few weeks till he just got used to the idea that its not going to go away....

Im afraid you'll have to do the same mate, and deal wit it by getting straighteners if you need to.

Usually, what is wrong with your hair is the way you've styled it! Trust me on that one!
