External Processing....

Is anyone here using external processing now?

We have the Radio package for scheduling and such but are really struggling on our Lowband stream to get the highs to cut off in time before the go over the Limiter and sound distorted.

FYI: The only processing of the source mp3 files I do is run them through MP3Gain's Track Gain option at the default 89.0 dB.

If clipping is still present, I continue to apply track gain but decrement 0.5 dB on the clipped tracks.

I've sourced both 128kbps stereo and 24kbsp mono with good results.
