Sync issues
Hi,
I'm trying to transcode a divx file. Plays fine as an AVI, so the source is all synced right. But the video output is about 1 second behind the audio. It's liek this for the whole of the movie... I've tried /ignoredrops and the audio send-ahead on the config. I also can't fix it on the client, cause the video delay can only be increased, and it needs to be decreased... Any ideas what to do? -Tim |

If you are live streaming, is your computer fast enough to encode in real-time? Check the "vinq" value, if it goes high (like around 190), then your computer isn't fast enough and you should decrease either the video size ("Resize" in the config dialog) or the video/audio quality.

Yeah, I think an AthlonXP 2000+ should be able to keep up
![]() Anyhoo, I figure it out. I was forcing the wrong framerate... Seems really neat though. I'm gonna see about getting a live stream set up for my college's TV station (I work there). Would have a lot of potential for off-site students... Thanks for the reply
