Shoutcast & Soundcard

Im trying to use my soundcard line-in and broadcast from that. I have it hooked up correctly because i can hear the music from line-in on my pc speakers. I have the ip port password setup because i broadcast all the time with mp3s. I goto the input part and put soundcard input and in soundcard mixer i have line input set and click lock and i still hear the music. I go to click connect and it connects but nothing is sending. what am i doing wrong?

i looked through all the FAQ and DOCS and none were able to help me and i even asked friends who use soundcard and they werent able to help me so plz dont tell me to read FAQ or RTFM or anything like that...

Sounds like your mixers aren't setup correctly.

Check out (removed) or (removed).

I'm not a soundcard/advanced mode expert, but I'll try to help out some.

Do you have a "What-you-hear" or "Recording Master" or similar in your recording mixers?

Please post a screen shot of your mixers.

advanced mode? i dont see anything about that in winamp, the shoutcast or the mixer settings. it wont let me upload screen shots but playback i have everything all the way up and in recording i have line-in selected and all the way up

Soundcard mode used to be called advanced mode.

What is the name of the first mixer in the recording panel?

its Soundmax digital audio and thats the only mixer device i have. Is there another way to contact you other than forum irc aim or something?

well i got it to work but it dies after like 2 minutes

I don't officially support microphones and soundcard mode. You'll have to wait until someone else with more experience takes over.

My trouble shooting is limited to mostly FAQ pointing and "configure your mixers".
