jones, if you do that then all 666 post threads will cease to exist. besides, a better idea wold be to not let the user see THEIR OWN post count.

then all you do is ask someone else, or jsut log out and check. There is no solution to the post-cout "problem" other than a) getting rid of them all togheter and b) just letting everyone see them again.

This is my point of view:
1,5,100,500, blah, it doesn't important how many post you have.
The important thing is that you can post your ideas, help other people, talk to others, etc...
If you only posting for the "post count" to be Forum King or a Mod

you can get "vbBulletin" or another Forum Maker, so you can be
a Moderator or Administrator of your own Forum

Remove them entirely. That really is the best solution. Atmo which is a greater problem, crossposting or postpumping and pointless threads? Wasn't this thread supposed to die?

I'm sorry nobby, but i think that you did post 500 times just to get 500 posts - you are the biggest post-pumper here, IMO. Idiot may have joined after you and may have over 4x as many posts, but he isn't nearly as bad of a postpumper. Why? Because he posts stuff worthy of recognition most of the time. Postpumping isn't making a ton of posts in a short amount of time - it's making pointless posts that have no intellectual value.

Nobby, this was really stupid. It's not good of you to blatantly advertise yourself as post pumper, and yeah, you are entitled to some fun. So search the forums for the 'xxx number of posts! W00t!' threads out there and reply to that.

I couldn't really give a fuck about the status. I just want a 'System Of Memories' title. Not just because it's a CT -- Because then I don't have to worry about the ranking system. No one will know whether I'm some 'uber l33t' person or some n00b. They will be forced to assume depending on my post quality, or if they know me.

The only reason I wanted my 'Major Dude' changed to 'Dudette' is so that I'd at least have some gender identification.
