Bug in Skin database!!!
I dont know what to say about this!
I got the attached URL as a link to my skin in 'Submission reviewed' confirmation mail. As u can see, this is a link to WA3 site, whereas mine is a WA2 skin! Surprisingly, this link works & shows u that it is a WA3 skin! There is a link for my skin in WA2 site too! confirming it a WA2 skin! WA3(!) skin: http://www.winamp.com/components/det...onentId=132228 WA2 skin: http://classic.winamp.com/skins/deta...onentId=132228 Could somebody at nullsoft explain this? Makes no difference, the acctual database is one thing, the component ID is valid for BOTH sites, the regular winamp.com and classic.winamp.com
Both sites take their skins from one central database. How is this a bug? and what's a "foll"? |

I'm no great Diya fan but I live in India and it was mentioned in almost every magazine availalbe. Actually it was the pic of Aishwariya Rai that got by attention

What's happened? No more view of raw directory with _deleted_ screenshots?

It's that "for a while" what I like
![]() To be frank, I was surprised there was dir level access at all, I thought it was an unwanted feature. Many who live deserve death, some who die deserve life - can you give it to them? Then be not so quick to deal out death in judgement. |

It probably was, the .htaccess files were probably screwed or something, or more likely not even there...

well, I kinda miss that access. It used to be good for checking your skin's big screenshot after uploading. Now you have to wait until it is published...
browsing thru the _delete_ skins used to be fun too ;P |

Have the reviewers stopped respecting the skinmasters? Most of the new WA2 skins I see have no staff comment, better they may be.
My skin, got Overall rating of 4 stars, but hey! that 'Approved' word makes me uneasy.

I respect the skinners allright, but the review system is so buggy lately, I spend as little as possible time in it so as many as possible skins can be published before it craps out on me. Hence the "Approved. Thank you for your submission."
If we are unable to publish the skins, they'll never get any ratings. "We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations." ~ Charles R. Swindoll |
