Audio Problem, possibly codecs.....
Well as I said im having audio trouble. When I compress the audio goes all fast. My friend encoded a .nsv that worked fine at his house and he sent it to me and the audio did the same things. I have a SB Live 5.1 Either its with the sound card or I dont have something I need installed. Can someone please help me on this, Thanks!

could you give some details about the encoded file like frequency channels bitrate?
do all mp3's do this to you or just the nsv encoded one? -Jay | Radio Toolbox.com |

problem with sound in nsv files
Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. And new to NSV also. I have been playing around with Shoutcast, broadcasting music.
Now i want to learn how to do it with video. I downloaded the nsvtools but they dont seem to be working right. Flaskmpeg crashes at encoding start up if trying to encode audio with mp3 lame encoder "openOutput: error creating audio compressor". Same thing with nsv Batch encoder (GUI). Nsvenc from console doesnt complain, but when i playback the output .nsv file, the sound speeds up and gets noisy after a couple of seconds of playback. PCM Audio results in no audio for both (console and GUI encoder). I'm getting this errors using .mpeg and .mpg files. Any ideas of what i'm doing wrong? |
