stream gets garbled

I have installed shoutcast dsp end the shoutcast DNAS.Everything works fine thank you..
But for the listener it doesn't,however..after a few minutes of undisturbed play,suddenly the music will get garbled,the tempo goes up and down and the stream seems to skip..does anybody know this problem,and more important can someone tell me how to fix it?

Do you have an SBLive! soundcard?

Well, I Use A Vortex Card Too. Good Card IMO.
I'm Using The Default Drivers That Came With XP. Sure The Driver Doesn't Have The Extra Features But I've Never Had Problems With It!
