The reason i didn't suggest a poll is that people will vote for their own, that simple. It doesn't matter there is going to be some unfair votes cast. We need a better voting system than just forum members on a poll. Maybe UnConeD if he doesn't submit or appears sometime. Or rovastar. Don't choose people who don't know avs because they won't recognise the work put in etc. SOmeone with a bit of avs knowledge at least.

a couple questions: can you use a different render from the superscope, along with the "one extra render"? same with dm - can you use a different trans, e.g. dynamic shift or ddm?
also, can you submit multiple entries? i would assume you can... "guilt is the cause of more disauders than history's most obscene marorders" --E. E. Cummings |

I think its one entry per person, and one update.. that was mentioned somewhere.. one entry it just plain logic for a competition, otherwise ppl could just send in 50 of their best flow presets.
And no atero, dont stretch the rules because everyone else has already played by the rules so it would be unfair to redefine them. *It says "one render other than superscope", so you can only use one render other than superscope. That means that you cant replace the superscope iwth another render. You dont have to use a ssc, but then you still only have one render. *It says nothing about replacing the dm either, so you cant do it. *It is just logical to assume that you cant have a dm as one of your other trans if it has already mentioned one dm only. chill out and tell us what you find wrong with the rules. It would be a shame for you not to be a part of it simply because of what i said, especially after seeing the two presets you submited.
The rules are the way they are because it is meant to be a competition was meant to be for simple, fast and flowey presets. so, tell us whats wrong with 'em <edit> ive posted a revision of phaze's rules on the other thread. Last edited by sidd; 16th May 2003 at 07:42. |

well, in case you pictured me as a shaved little swami or an axe weilding maniac, both are just names, and dont in any way reflect my persona/appearence. ![]() btw. AVS_axer was a spin off from my days as a quake1 fanatic. I used to run around and get frags with just the axe ![]() but it is a sucky name, so i changed it. |

I'll judge, considering I'm not entering anyway. I just don't know anything about flows. If I do judge, I would award several winners:
Speed - One which looks OK, but runs really good. Looks - One which runs OK, but looks really good. Innovation - One which features an interesting new effect. Response - One which reacts to music the best. Overall - One which excells in most areas. |

Zevensoft, sounds like a .plan to me
![]() mmmhmmm, i think my entry has a good music response, a new color-trick & it works fast, but that's just my opinion Too bad it looks like puke tho... not many people can relate to the colors.

Why the hell are you changing the rules every second minute? I bet that no-one of you knows exactly what are the rules of what you can put and what you can't put. And I offered to be a judge a year ago, you said that you're getting some milkdroppers to judge this contest, but when did that change ?
...yeah well, whatever, I lost my interest to this long time ago.. Good luck

hey! the deadline is coming soon and we only got about 25+ enteries!
and we thought that we would be recieving thousands of enteries, maybe the contest did'nt get proper attention.

besides the fact that there aren't "thousands" of avs artists on this forum, or even dedicated avs artists out there, if you were expecting more entries you should've allowed more than one per user. That along with how the rules weren't stated clearly when the contest started and they didn't even all make sense in the first place....

25 entries is A LOT! I suggest we call it quits at the deadline and no double entries for anyone. If you snooze, you lose

The deadline come now, what then? How will the winner be announced. I can collect all the presets from the thread and compile it into a pack, then it can be sent to WA, devart, everywhere. But how will the winners be declared? I think there should be three winner's. 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Why not just release them all in a pack in order of who came first to last?
