Unable to hear to streaming audio

I am running Winamp 3.0 d build #488 on a Windows XP professional platform. I used to be able to hear to streaming audio without any problem but now I don't.

If for example, I click on this link:

http://www.shoutcast.com/sbin/shoutc...e=filename.pls

Then Winamp gets opened, but no sound is reproduced. The same happens with any other link to a radio station that I follow.

What could be the reason of this problem ? Anyone has gone through this problem before and has a clue about how to solve it?

Any help would be really appreciated Thanks

umm try this..Go to Start then programs then accessories and then entertainement and finally volume control...check if anythin is on mute
