yet another...
microphone question.. I just went to that thread that I know every one of you reading this wants to send me to and gained another problem..
Before doing all that, when I talked it would be just my voice and barely any music. Now when I press talk the music volume goes down a little like it should, but I have no voice at all. So I went into sound recorder and tested if I was getting anything.. and it didnt record anything. I know its not my mic because if i play counter-strike or any game that you can speak in, it works. any idea whats wrong? |

If your using a non soundblaster type card, just where you click on the lil yellow speaker icon on the start bar next to the clock I can help. Let me find the post telling you how to change the setting.

ok heres what you need to do you need to click on the icon, click option then properties, you'll see a circle box default to playback.
The two options ar (O) Playback ( ) Recording select recording. Then hit ok. Is mic listen then? If so click the select button if not go to the properties and select mic from that little list of check boxes and disc and junk. Get it. If not let me know. |
