Mic wont work

My mic works in programs and stuff but not winamp when i click mic as the source and talk the input bars dont move there all the way down. Whats wrong?

Do you choose Soundcard Input as your Input Device?

If not, you need to change it from Winamp to SOundcard.

Yes i used soundcard as input im not stupid.
