Are you trying to connect to the server to listen from within the network?

If so, are you using http://127.0.0.1:8000/listen.pls to listen with from Winamp?

ok...on the streaming machine, I assume that you have a winamp with the DSP that is successfully streaming to the shoutcast server. Right?

Are you connecting to the proper port? Is that port open and accepting connections on the host machine?

are you getting [yp:tech]yp.shoutcast.com touched

acording to your post it apears you may be having a problems connecting to the server. IE. shoutcast nak error.

connection timed out. Have you ever gotten one of those errors. if so please post it for me please.

nak errors?? I see no nak errors in what was posted. It was already pointed out that the streaming winamp is connected to the server.

patricelumumba, can you connect with Winamp to listen or are you only trying with RealPlayer?

Type http://IP Address:8000 in your browser. Use the ip address of the machine that is streaming. Do you get the SHOUTcast Status page there?

yes I understand that. But the shoutcast server isn't truely connected untill you get the tech yp.shoutcast.com touches ! And after that it may take a few minuets to get listed on the yellow page directory!

If your trying to listen from within the LAN then use the LAN IP (i.e. 192.168.1.1) and not the global IP. I was able to hit your DNAS with no problem:
Played @ Song Title
15:30:33 New Artist - shs110
15:29:34 New Artist - shs19
15:28:42 New Artist - shs18
15:27:53 New Artist - shs17
15:27:14 New Artist - shs16
