Playlist Titles

hi everyone.....

My Wish: To have titles for playlists in the playlist(i hope that makes sense).
Well what i mean is if i had a playlist called "THE 7 GREAT SONGS then I had another album called THE GOOD LIST then those titles will be placed in the playlist window to space the playlists. I think it will make finding the song you want faster.
e.g
THE 7 GREAT SONGS
01 gently
02 toxicity
03 ATWA
04 Psycho
05 everything ends
06 iowa
07 mutter
THE GOOD LIST
01 tattered and torn
02 fake
03 calm like a bomb
04 addict
05 dragula
Hope you get it so far.
You could even put more info in like how many songs it has, size of total files, date cteated in the title.
Atleats say if this is a good idea or not thanks

You mean like it is with Winamp3's multi-playlist structure?

Also, you can do this in 2.9x Media Library -> Playlists

I also knew that you can do that in ML playlist but i want it in the normal playlist.

congratulations on your "promotion"

anyway it is possiable if it is in a seperate window but not like winamp3 where the playlist selector is in the same window as the playlist editor.

as in like it looks like the playlist editor..only difference is that this window has the playlist and not tracks.

I've been thinking a lot about this too. It'd be really great to show the album/playlist title either in the main window (the scrolling area) or on the top of the playlist editor window (I now use Winamp 5). Maybe you could be able to turn this feature on/off.

You wouldn't be able to put the playlist title in the playlist editor window... there's no place for it. (Rewriting the window would require changes to the WinAmp 2.x core, breaking skin compatibility.)

Song-scrolling & taskbar-showing the playlist title would probably be easily done. The only problem here would be low demand & lack of any real usefulness besides asthetics.
