Slow performance, constant rebuffering

Hi Colleagues,

I think I've installed SC fine. I can access the amdin pages, start/stop the server. fine.
Just whatever I truy to stream (on-demand) from the content directory )or any other place, is hacked up badly, through to constant re/prebuffering. (Not quite the purpose of a streaming server, is it?) With the scdemo.mp3/pls, it stopped alone 4 times for about a second to buffer.
I'm on a virtual server with about 10MB RAM allocated. (according to the system requirement, that should be enough).

Are there any performance settings? Did I do something wrong after all?
