Static or Clicking in background of stream.

Started up station last night and all seemed to be working really well. Today problems started. First there is a clicking or static sound in the background of the stream, at least that's what is sounds like. When the stream (music) stops, the clicking/static stops. When I close the Shoutcast stream it stop also and when I start-up the Shoutcast is goes for about 30 minutes and starts up again. What could the problem be?

Do you have an SBLive soundcard?
