Router Problems
Hi, I'm having problems setting up a server. I've read alot of the tutorials and it says I just have to open the corresponding ports.
Well in my router the way I usually open ports is thru Virtual Server and the weird thing is when I open port 8000 & 8001. Port 8001 won't work It seemsl ike no matter what port I open, the specified port + 1 will not work automatically Can anyone help me out? Thanks |

You only need to open/forward portBase+1 (default is 8000+1) iff (if and only if) you expect folks outside your lan to source the DNAS.
Are you trying to use portBase+1 as a parameter values in the DSP or an url? |

I'm just trying to host a radio, but my router gives two ips and I can't get it working
I thought I had to make both ports to work so ppl can listen? |

Only portBase (default is 8000) opening/forwarding is required for listeneing.
What are those ips? |
