Problems with dropouts

I have a Shoutcast 1.9.2 running. The OS i RedHat Linux 7.3. My sound source is a MP3 hardware encoder from Audioactive. The stream is 32kbit 22kHz mono sound, whitch is relayed by the Shoutcast server.

The server has a 2GHz AMD processor and 512MByte RAM, plenty of power. The computer is only used for Shoutcast.

My problem is that I some times have dropouts in my stream and the player is rebuffering. I have 7 clients connecting, 6 of then are connecting over a 512kbit internet connection, so there should be no bandwith problem.

What can I try solving that problem?
