I'm really not to familar with the SHOUTcast scene, but I think most people who use shoutcast just play music.

How many people do actually just do plain talk radio(maybe some music invovled)?

I'm thinking of starting a mostly talk radio and mostly legit music(music i have made or have rights to). I'm not too sure i'll find a big untapped market because it will be basically marketed to friends and other people with interests are the same.

I'm going to try weekly broadcasts once i've got certain parts of my show and my other friends show planned out.

So i would just like to get some response from people who do talk radio on their stream(or another's stream) and their experences with it. Anyone else can comment on it as well with their own opinion on mostly talk rather than music.
