It worked the other day...........hmmmmmmm ill fix it then.

The Sepultura S, I drew this in about half and hour.

I first outlined the main shape of the s with a light pencil then i shaded in each bone. Then I smeared the edges with an eraser and used it to create smeared lines coming from the S. I then wrote Sepultura at the top and put my signature on it.

With the filer all I did was put the hot wax filter through. So this is a drawing not a computer generated image. Well its mainly drawing but with some help with a computer.

Wow. great thread! Um...I haven't drawn in years....a lot of my best work was from when I was around 12 years old.....

But....here are some sketches I found...I don't know where a lot of my stuff went....maybe I should start drawing again. I sorta miss it.

This is a drawing I remember doing for a friend that liked trumpet. I was sort of fascinated with how complex the valves looked with light one them...so I wanted to draw them and see if the looked as complex without the lights twinkling off the chrome finish. http://joellindow.homestead.com/file...ve_sketch1.jpg

This is some sort of sketch I must have done of a super hero. I don't remember a lot about this sketch...think I did it durring a lecture on the book "waiting for godot" in high school. So...tryed to drown out the seminar by doodling...and it turned into this. I think it was a mix of 2 superheroes. And this I remember doing when I was in middle school. I made a little guy out of a spray paint cap, some lose lumber, a few nails and some little plastic cap thingies (the eyes nailed on). I am probably not very good compared to you guys..but a lot of people in my classes say I draw really good..

I am sure this is a crappy drawing to the eyes of the beholders...I didn't spend much time..I guess it's a fast mouse drawing...

I've always been fascinated by Japanes and Chinese calligraphy and writing. Whenever I draw bands like these they always criss-cross into almost archaic words. Or so it seems to me.

It's funny, I never found a whole lot of interest in Oriental cultures past the medeval era. Samurais and all that. I can't stand anime.

My style of drawing, I call "pencilcraft"

In this drawing I added background colors and stars, but other than that I drew the whole thing by hand.

Hey everybody,

I'm new to this thread and from what I've seen so far I'm very intimidated to post something but I still wanted to share it with you so don't laugh please, all of y'all's drawing look awesome

This is a pic I jsut drew in 20 minutes, it shows a friend of mine called Corina who gave blood last week and I thought it was such a nice gesture (I wanted to do it too but didn't weigh enough

) I drew her this picture, it shows her having her blood drawn but she's smiling

I'm sorry for this extremely bad quality, it's REALLY blurry I know, but I had to take a pic of it with my crappy webcam since I don't have a scanner *puts scanner on her list of things to buy when I got money one day*...hope that you can still recognize sometihng...the one on the left is the whole pic, the two next to it are the details: the face and the writing that says "For Corina" in German...

Well, yes.....photoimpact....

I just darken the picture a little bit (so you can't see the pencil lines) and then I add colors and stuff.

edit: those curvy, undetailed lines, extending out to the edge of the paper are the parts I haven't finished yet. Those are the base branches, I still have yet to add the orbic webbing to them.

This is my kind of Valentine's day card. No more of this namby-pamby pink/white bullshit. I'll make a few designs...
This is just the preliminary, I'll scan the final thing before I send it off. It'll be on black paper, with the thing coloured in markers and pencil crayons for highlights. It should look badass when I'm done with it.
