New Virus on the Attack

A new variant of the fast-spreading Bugbear virus--Win32.Bugbear.B--
has begun rapidly infecting PCs since it was first reported Wednesday.

If you have updated Internet Explorer and don't open any funny attachments, you should be fine.

Yeah, the anti-virus developers have been busy - some have updated their signature files 2 or 3 times today.

If someone is silly enough to get infected, here is a removal tool:

This is one reason why I dont mind using Hotmail, the viruses are automatically removed and the messages deleted.
