Jeeze, help me out please.
Ok, earlier I moved my computer into another room, I disconnected everything, moved it and plugged everything back in. I go to do Shoutcast a little while ago, doesn't work. I get this error:
<06/14/03@20:47:42> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak) <06/14/03@20:47:42> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 68.43.5.226:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection refused)) Now, i referred to everything I could, I have no firewalls and my router is all good with this. I mean it was working in my other room just fine, now I move it and it's all screwed up. Help me please! |

Ok, I went there and this is what it said:
68.43.5.226:8000 is Closed Reason Given: Connection refused More about this error: This essentially means that the port is open to the internet but has no services associated with it. There is no firewall protection on this port. What is wrong? |

Did you setup your router to forward incoming request? On your LAN it will work without this but if you want the world to listen (the yp is part of the world) then you need to do this.
