Re-Broadcasting
Well I have a relay server linked to my main one, I'm using the main one for 96kbps and the relay as a 24kbps server. How do I make it so when I have a DJ connect to my main server, my relay picks up what is being streamed on the main server but converts it to 24kbps.
Note: Both of these servers are on different ports. Thanks, aroariaN |

You will have to either have the DJs send both the 96 kbps and 24 kbps stream to their respective servers (easy with 1.8.2b of the SHOUTcast DSP) or use some type of transcoder to tune into the 96 kbps stream and reencode it down to 24 kbps and send it to the proper server. This can be done with another instance of Winamp w/ SHOUTcast DSP or a program such as transcoder available at oddsock.org

Yup, I heard of transcoder, I have it, i'm trying to install it on my UNIX dedicated server. I just need a quick walk through on how to get that started.
