K I searched, Can't connect at all.

when i hit the connect button, it tries 2 connect, then sometimes i can c the word "kill" 4 a very brief speck of second and then disconnected.I changed the port 2 8080,8001.No dice.And i am ot sure where the log is located.I am using my computer as the server, so i have localhost as my IP.Any suggestions? i looked all over the forums 4 this allready posted, but no dice.
