remote restart and shutdown

alright, im running a radiostation and i haev to change the password for it becasue some of the other djs have been using abusing their dj power, so i need to know how to shut down the server from a remote location so taht i can upload the new sc_serv.conf to the server and then i need to know how to start it back up again
